Shimano SLX (FC-M660 and FC-M665)
SLX Hollowtech II Cranksets feature hollow forged crank arms, durable pipe billet steel axles, and smooth shifting SG-X chainrings. Model FC-M660 features traditional MTB triple chainrings, while model FC-M665 features the new Mountain Compact Drive gearing (36-22) along with an integrated bash guard.
BASHGUARD: Do not use the bashguard for the FC-M810 single chainwheel with the FC-M665 chainwheel, as it will not function correctly. Shimano bashguards are designed together with the crank arms to provide strength, rigidity and good shifting performance.
